no big.
we live in an awesome old apartment building with all the character and space you could want, all within walking distance of class/coffee shops/restaurants. unfortunately, like most awesomely old places, the bathroom was SEVERELY lacking. think old, cracked, dirtynomatterhowhardyoumopped pink and white tile floors.
so today we, being the do it yourself girls that we are, marched into lowes and bought a precut slab of vinyl "tile". the guy at lowes all but laughed in our face about what we were planning on doing: laying a piece of this precut floor on top of our existing tile, with no adhesive. RUDE. i think i may need to take pictures to show him how successful we were.
so basically now, jaime and i are going to start making our bathroom what we've wanted all along: a clean, simple space that doesn't make you cringe every time you step into it.
